Hi everyone! I'm new to dailyotome and somewhat not a newbie to otome-kei. I learned mostly what I know of otome through lolita bloggers and lolita LJ communities. Most of the entries were about its basic roots, basic criteria and how it influenced lolita and several other J-fashions. From what I understand of it, otome-kei is more a fashion aesthetic, rather than a pure fashion, or fashion trend, since it doesn't have concrete rules and conceptions of a pure "fashion" (in the same sense as lolita, visual-kei, western goth, etc.).

I hope to make a few posts here and there, and learn a little more about otome through the North American, and much wider International and originator Japan, communities.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a store in/ships to the USA that has Otome clothing? Or at least something similar? I used to be able to find the odd piece in the mall but haven't lately. Thank you!

Anyway, here are some otome and otome inspired coordinates. I don't have any brand (*grumblegrumble*) but that's where otome is wonderful! If you can achieve the aesthetic, who cares about the names that you're wearing? xD I hope I nailed down the aesthetics, haha.
